Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for strengthening students' academic self-efficacy and to identify their impact on learning motivation and academic achievement. Academic self-efficacy refers to students' beliefs in their ability to successfully accomplish academic tasks and has been recognized as a significant predictor of learning success (Bandura, 1997; Pajares, 1996). This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2025. The literature was retrieved from Google Scholar, ERIC, Scopus, and ScienceDirect databases. A total of 30 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed using thematic analysis through the processes of identification, selection, synthesis, and interpretation. The findings indicate that strengthening academic self-efficacy positively influences students' learning motivation, academic resilience, self-regulated learning, and academic achievement. The most effective strategies include providing mastery experiences, constructive feedback, collaborative learning, guidance and counseling services, and goal-setting practices. These findings highlight the importance of implementing sustainable efforts to strengthen academic self-efficacy through collaboration among teachers, school counselors, schools, and families. This study contributes to the advancement of Social Cognitive Theory and provides evidence-based recommendations for educational policies and practices aimed at improving the quality of learning and students' academic success.
