This research is library research, the purpose of this research is to provide an understanding through a historic approach about the achievement of the glory of Islam in the field of science and philosophy which later became the center of world culture and civilization. It is undeniable that the achievement of these advances is related to the teachings of Greek philosophy on the one hand and the great appreciation of Islam for the ability of human ratios on the other, but the extraordinary support from the authorities from both the Abasiyiah State in Baghdad (East) and the Umayyad State based in Cordova (West) at that time also contributed greatly. Unlike Europe, which is experiencing a long sleep, the ratio has no room for movement at all, all scientific activities are dominated by religious interests. Islam has made room for radio's extraordinary abilities. Until the development of science and
philosophy which in time pioneered the rise of the Renaissance in Europe.
