STRATEGI SEKOLAH DALAM MENGATASI DEGRADASI MORAL SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 4 SATU ATAP KEDUNGREJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of violations by students against school rules and deviant student behavior at One Roof Public Middle School 4. Considering that schools play a role in education and have a very important role in efforts to overcome moral degradation and the moral development of their students. The purpose of this study was to find out the school's strategy in overcoming the moral degradation of students at SMP Negeri 4 One Roof Kedungreja and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the school's strategy in overcoming student moral degradation. This type of research is field research or field research. While the approach in this study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the study show that Kedungreja One Roof Public Middle School 4 applies several actions in overcoming the violations that students commit. These actions are preventive actions in the form of preventive actions before the occurrence of violations, then repressive actions, namely control measures after the occurrence of violations and the last is curative actions, namely awareness actions for students so they can realize their mistakes and are willing and able to correct them and will not repeat them. While the supporting factors are the existence of cooperation between teachers and parents and the local community and the existence of cooperation between teachers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor itself is the lack of support from the parents of the students as well as from the student's playing environment itself.
