Abstract

PPL, or Field Experience Practice, is a mandatory program implemented by students of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This PPL program is conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah Cimanggu for the 2024/2025 academic year. This study is a qualitative research aimed at describing the implementation of learning and the management of the PPL program. The data sources in this research include four PPL students from the K.H. Sufyan Tsauri Majenang Islamic Institute, one supervising teacher, as well as the school principal and vice-principal of curriculum. The data in this study consists of activities and documents related to the program. The research results show that the PPL program is conducted offline (face-to-face) over 43 days, from September 17 to October 29, 2024. During the first week, there was a PPL student handover and the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's Mawlid. The second week included the Mid-Semester Summative Assessment (ASTS) activities, the third week featured the Taruna Melati event, the fourth week saw the election of the IPM president and P5 activities, and the fifth and sixth weeks involved learning activities using Discussion and Mind Mapping methods.
