PENGARUH BERDIRINYA PONDOK PESANTREN AN-NUR TERHADAP PERILAKU KEAGAMAAN MASYARAKAT DUSUN CIGULINGHARJO DESA PADANGJAYA KECAMATAN MAJENANG KABUPATEN CILACAP

Abstract

Islamic boarding school is an Islamic religious educational institution that is growing and recognized by the local community, with a hostel system where the students receive religious education through a recitation system or madrasah which is completely under supervision by a person or some religious leaders. Islamic boarding schools is aiming to prepare the students to become well religious persons and apply it, also guiding the students in to build their characters with good morals so they’ll able to become preachers in society. Because of that, establishing Islamic boarding schools is important in country side, especially in underdeveloped area where’s with lack of intellectual and religious knowledge. This research have a purpose to understanding the influence about establishing an Islamic boarding schools in people's religious behavior. This research is a field survey, by doing a descriptive qualitative approaches. The data sources in this research obtained by collecting the data by observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of the research shows that the affect of the establishment of the An-Nur Islamic boarding school on people's religious behavior has many benefits, like initiating to build a large mosque, creating some Islamic organizations, founding an Islamic religious education foundation and running regular religious events by the students and civilians. Also, the positive affect proved by the fact that at every religious event, the residents of Cigulingharjo village always take a role when running every events, starting from children, teenagers, adults and even the elders. The interaction between the students and the civilians of Cigulingharjo village is very good, with a mutual relationship, mutual cooperation and mutual respect.
